Forum: GratefulDead Subject: Dylan's "Together Through Life" - Robert Hunter's role ?

In the "Late Dead" thread , we got into the late Dylan , when in occurred to me , has anyone seen any comments from Hunter on his contribution to that Dylan album ? He is given co-writing credits on most of the songs .
The songs are nothing too earth shattering, and I don't hear "Hunter like " lyrics as in "Silvio" . My guess wold be he might have influenced Dylan to edit his songs a little . Dylan of course , has some long assed songs in his career , but usually every word counts . For me , on "Modern Times" , there is some signs of "non essential" words, some self editorial sloppiness . On TTL, the songs are , as a rule , shorter . Is this Hunter's influence ?
Any ideas ?
